The Omni Obsidian is built around a brushless outer-rotor motor, designed to deliver consistent cutting power with greater control at lower speeds. Compared to standard inner-rotor motors, it produces higher torque without relying on high RPM, allowing for clean, precise trimming without pulling or snagging.

This motor design also results in less vibration compared to magnetic or vector motors, along with lower noise. For a trimmer, this is particularly important, as it improves stability when working on fine details like line-ups, edges, and finishing work, while reducing hand fatigue during longer use.

The ability to maintain performance at lower speeds also improves battery efficiency. When working on lighter detailing or shorter hair, the trimmer can run at a lower speed setting without losing cutting performance, helping extend overall runtime.

The DLC-coated T-blade is designed for close, precise cutting, with a low-friction surface that stays sharper for longer. With a cutting length down to under 0.1mm, it’s suited for sharp outlines, clean edges, and detailed finishing work.

A 2500 mAh lithium-ion battery provides over 180 minutes of runtime with consistent output, supported by dual speed settings (7200 and 8000 RPM). The lightweight 210g body, aluminium and ABS construction, and integrated LED detailing light make it practical for everyday use, especially when working in tighter or low-light areas.
